Santander inaugurates corporate in Querétaro

Santander inaugurated its new corporate District Querétaro in which it invested around 2,500 million pesos and in which more than 2,600 jobs will be generated.

In his speech, Héctor Grisi Checa, president and CEO of Grupo Financiero Santander México, said that with the opening of this new building they will reach the figure of 10,000 employees in Querétaro.

The Santander corporation is the largest employer in the state and the main payroll tax payer, said Gustavo Arturo Leal Maya, state finance secretary.

Grisi Checa said that the building adapts to the ways of working of the new generations, with collaborative spaces that generate interaction, promote productivity and teamwork, in order to attract and retain the best talent.

The space has an auditorium, 79 meeting rooms, 244 collaborative spaces, 17 training rooms, a corporate dining room and more than 1,000 parking spaces.

In addition, the facilities meet the highest national and international environmental standards and have inclusive spaces accessible to people with disabilities.

During his participation in the opening ceremony, André El-Mann Arazi, director general of Fibra UNO Nacional, said that the efforts of the government, Santander and investors converge in the trust that is placed in the entity to promote first-class services.

Meanwhile, Mauricio Kuri González, governor of Querétaro, celebrated that this company has set its strategic vision on the entity's competitive advantages to take this new step, and affirmed that here they will continue to find an ecosystem that drives business growth, thanks to the conditions of certainty, legality and security that are offered.
