The automotive manufacturer S-Riko expanded its production plant, located in the metropolitan municipality of El Marqués, in the O'Donnell Industrial Park.

For this project, the Japanese firm invests 17.8 million dollars and adds 200 jobs.

This production center is strategically located between the regions of Central America and North America, said the president of Sumitomo Riko Company Limited of Japan, Kazushi Shimizu. The firm currently has 100 plants in 20 countries.

The first Sumimoto Riko plant in Mexico was installed in 2012; Now, it operates two production centers in Chihuahua and one in Querétaro. And in 2017 he started the new company name S-Riko in the entity, dedicated mainly to producing anti-vibration systems and aesthetic internal parts.
