The demand for industrial buildings in Coahuila is experiencing one of its best moments in 2022, said the former president of the Coahuila Southeast Real Estate Chamber (CAPI), Raúl José Garza.

The businessman added that there is hardly any project on the horizon and there is already a list to grab, either under construction or even in planning.

In addition, he stressed that the demand for industrial spaces is mainly due to the economic and security position in the southeast of Saltillo.

“The region fulfills a lot and that is why investors look here. We are very close to the border and we don't have a problem with water like in other parts of the north of the country”.

Likewise, he commented that the developers of industrial parks carry out the construction of large ships because they already have a contract tied up.

On the other hand, José Garza indicated that the rent of commercial premises in the state presents a high occupancy rate due to the strong dynamism in all economic sectors and at the same time, the prices of rents in this market have been adjusted upwards.

However, he specified that this figure is linked to inflation, which today is more than 8 percent, and could even reach 10 percent.
