
The third REHAU plant was inaugurated in Apaseo El Grande, Guanajuato. This plant will manufacture edge covers for export to clients such as Herman Miller, and others, such as Placacentros, Masisa, Tableros del Norte, Mobel and Ikea, in the United States and Canada.
REHAU is a multinational company of German origin, headquartered in Switzerland, and global headquarters of operations in Germany, dedicated to the transformation of polymers for the automotive, construction, and industrial sectors.

Veit Wagner, Global CEO of REHAU, after thanking the State Government for supporting this company, said that it is a source of satisfaction to generate more jobs for the people of Guanajuato.
With this new plant, 25 million dollars are being invested and the generation of 200 additional jobs, REHAU reaches a stage of consolidation in Guanajuato as it also turns 30 years old.
In Mexico, this company has a plant in Monterrey, Nuevo León and three in Apaseo El Grande, Guanajuato. Globally it has more than 20 thousand employees in 54 countries.
The governor of the State of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue, reported that during his six-year term they have reached more than 7 billion dollars in investments.

The state president recalled that three decades ago this great company arrived in Mexico. During this time, it has managed to build a great success story, alongside important clients such as Mabe, Whirlpool, Volkswagen and Ford, among others.
To conclude, he added: “Today we have a new goal which is to reach 8,000 million dollars before the end of this six-year term. I am sure that we will achieve it, because investors know that Guanajuato is the best place to invest in Mexico.”
