During this period, the SIG Combibloc project – a Swiss supplier of systems and solutions for aseptic packaging of food and beverages – was completed, a project in which it will invest 70 million euros, as well as Atotech, a German company in the chemical industry that inaugurated its facilities, in which it invested 169.4 million pesos.

Among the recent announcements, the expansion of Safran, a French company in the aerospace industry, stands out, as well as Nestlé, a Swiss company dedicated to food production, which will invest 2,550 million pesos to modernize the Carnation and Gerber plants.

He also highlighted that the entity has recovered and surpassed the formal employment that existed prior to the pandemic, generating more than 661 thousand formal jobs until August 2022, 7.8% above the same month in 2019, before the effects of the pandemic.

Meanwhile, he added, an ambitious public works program was launched, which includes the Paseo 5 de Febrero project and consists of reengineering 5 de Febrero avenue, works with a duration of 15 months in the state capital .
