Puerta Reforma, the new corporate and commercial icon of Mexico City

The skyscraper that will house the Waldorf Astoria hotel in Mexico City is being built on Paseo de la Reforma, it is the Torre Puerta Reforma (Saba) building with a height of 305 meters and 73 floors, the main architect of the work is Fernando Romero.

The lower volume at the base of the tower houses the first Waldorf Astoria hotel in Mexico City. The upper volume was designed for AA class offices and the corporate headquarters of a major commercial group, ”stated Romero.

The plan contemplates that the hotel has from 300 to 105 rooms, three ballrooms each with a capacity of 600 people, as well as a five-star restaurant, in addition to conference spaces, a cafeteria, a luxury spa, an indoor pool and a Gym.

According to the Solili real estate platform, in the Reforma office corridor there is an inventory of one million 714 thousand 904 square meters of which there is a vacancy of 307 thousand 679 square meters.

However, during the last quarter of 2020, it registered a negative net absorption of 37,584 square meters.

Until January 2021, the average monthly rental price per square meter in this corridor was $ 21.45.
