Office rental prices drop in Puebla and more are built

The real estate sector in Puebla has 55 thousand square meters of its own offices available, which despite the pandemic are in demand since rents fell by up to 13 percent, according to the Solili platform.

Although there was unemployment in 2020, leasing activity was higher. The vacancy in Puebla was around 19 percentage points of the total inventory, which translates into approximately 55 thousand square meters in the capital city, not including the spaces that are under construction.

In the Puebla market, mainly small spaces ranging from 20 or 30 square meters are offered for small offices, although complete plants that exceed 800 or a thousand square meters are also offered.

The type of companies that are coming to the city are basically those that belong to the service sector, the area with the greatest real estate mobility is Angelópolis, which is the one that reports the highest occupancy with a falling demand of 120 square meters.
