"Opportunities exist for development works in key markets, especially for value-added opportunities such as redevelopments. The availability of labor for the construction of these spaces is seen by JLL as a limitation for the development of this industry, which is combined with the increase in wage prices, which also impacts its business models.

According to the study, which is based on figures from the Uptime Institute, the global data center industry would grow from 2.3 million people in 2019 to 2.5 million people by 2025.
