Industrial parks maintain lines of innovation in the Mexican market

Mexican manufacturing is excellent and very competitive. During the last decades, Mexico has managed to insert itself into the productive chains of the North American region and has been successfully involved in the Asian and European processes and at all times.

In this context, industrial parks are particularly important, not only because of the infrastructure guarantee, a geographical location that facilitates access to markets, but now, more than ever, because of the safety and sustainability that these spaces offer.

And it is that, conceptually, an industrial park is a geographically delimited surface and designed for the settlement of the industrial plant in suitable location conditions, with infrastructure, equipment, basic services and a permanent administration that allows continuous operation.

The country has been expanding and improving its real estate infrastructure to be able to receive the global companies that arrive and for this reason, it has the majority of the industrial market in all of Latin America, which allows it to generate impacts at a societal and global level.

In Mexico it is the Mexican Association of Private Industrial Parks, A.C. (AMPIP), which represents the industrial real estate sector and today has a membership that is present in 430 industrial parks and buildings located in 27 entities in the country.

The country's growth in terms of manufacturing and logistics has gone hand in hand with the development of new industrial parks in different regions, with different levels of importance, but almost always related to the automotive, aerospace, medical technology and electronics industries, in In general, companies dedicated to manufacturing that have been settling in industrial parks.

For 2022 - 2023, AMPIP has 47 new industrial parks under construction, mainly in the north of the country, in municipalities such as Mexicali, Tecate, Saltillo, Apodaca and Nuevo Laredo, to mention a few, although the growth of various municipalities in the central zone and Bajío.
