Currently, the Industrial Parks of the State of Guanajuato have managed to attract 77 investment projects that represent more than 4.43 million dollars together with the generation of 28 thousand direct jobs.

The head of the Secretariat for Sustainable Economic Development (SDES), Ramón Alfaro Gómez, affirmed that there are 6,800 hectares destined for productive activities in 46 Industrial Parks, which are distributed in 17 municipalities of Guanajuato.

The companies installed within the industrial complexes have allowed the attraction of investments from the sectors: automotive-auto parts, agri-food, plastic, services, industry in general, new technologies and leather-footwear-supplies.

The parks are distributed in the municipalities of: Abasolo, Apaseo el Grande, Celaya, Comonfort, Guanajuato, Irapuato, León, San Felipe, San Francisco del Rincón, San José Iturbide, San Luis de la Paz, San Miguel de Allende, Salamanca, Silao, Uriangato, Valle de Santiago and Villagrán.
