Sordo Madaleno Arquitectos (SMA), will be the firm in charge of the architectural design that has 85 years of experience and SOMA, its sister company, will be in charge of real estate development.

Among the main sustainable elements of this project will be the integration of green roofs, the use of endemic species in the landscaping design that allows optimizing water demand.

The landscape design will be adjusted to the species used in the development of Cabo del Sol, most of them endemic and desert type.

The operation had the second opinion of the company Valora Consultores, who carried out the environmental impact study and, in addition to the compliance criteria of the Equator Principles (EPs, for its acronym in English), determined the compliance criteria under which The reduction of the environmental impact (reduction of energy consumption per room) of the Hotel's operations during the life of the credit will be evaluated.

This loan will bring the first Park Hyatt hotel in Mexico, and will mark a milestone in the financing of hotels that incorporate environmental care criteria developed by SOMA, said Alejandro Cárdenas Bortoni, general director of Corporate Banking, Government, Mortgage and Automotive of BBVA Mexico. .
