NYX Plastic invests $10 million in operations expansion

With an investment of 10 million dollars, the US company, NYX Plastics Mexico, announced the expansion of its operations at the Arteaga, Coahuila plant.

After a year and a half since they inaugurated their factory in the Davisa Industrial Park, the firm is committed to its growth in the region due to the increase in demand for its products.

This project will generate 600 new jobs, which will double its production volume and the size of its current workforce, which amounts to 1,200 collaborators.

Jay Sandhu, ex-CEO of the company, commented that the current market is growing impressively and considered that it always speaks well of an organization when it increases its presence in other countries.

Likewise, he recognized the state authorities for the support provided so that in Coahuila they could find a solution to all their concerns.

"We are happy to announce this expansion and we can assure you that there is a very good workforce here to face the challenges that lie ahead," he added.

For his part, Claudio Bres Garza, Secretary of Economy, highlighted the conditions provided by the entity so that more and more arrivals from different companies are announced, such as labor peace, legal certainty and economic development.

He said that by the end of the current administration they expect each region of Coahuila to have a significant presence of companies from the manufacturing industry.
