The State of Mexico will receive an investment of 41.64 million euros from La Moderna, for a new pasta plant to be located in Toluca, as stated by Alfredo del Mazo, governor of the entity.

According to the press release, said property will be at the strategic junction of the Toluca-Atlacomulco Highway, which connects with the Valle de Bravo and Lerma bypass.

Likewise, it was reported that it will have a production capacity of 70 thousand tons per month, with which the pasta company will increase its participation in the markets of the center and west of the country.

The first factory of this company was installed in Edoméx in the 1920s. “Since then, their hard work, the quality of their products, vision and determination have led this company to be a leader in the national food industry”, Alfredo Del Mazo indicated.

In its Twitter account, Grupo La Moderna mentioned that this investment is designed for the future to continue feeding Mexican families.

During the presentation of the new La Moderna plant, the state representative from Mexico recognized the decision of the directors of this company to contribute to the state.

In addition, Alfredo del Mazo stressed the importance of the food sector in state development, particularly of this business group that, since its inception, has relied on the state and is doing so again by announcing an investment for the construction of its new pasta plant.
