Nestlé Purina announces investment of 220 million dollars in expansion of the Guanajuato building

The pet food division of the Nestlé family, Purina, announced the investment of 220 million dollars to expand the plant in Silao Guanajuato, with this investment it will become the largest plant of its type in Latin America.

The company reported that it will use these funds to open a third line of wet food and 25% for dry food, so an annual production of wet food is estimated at 50 thousand tons.

The production carried out in the Silao warehouse focuses on five brands of food for dogs and cats, including one of their most popular, Dog Chow. The expansion of the Purina factory not only represents leadership in the pet food industry, but is also a testament to the brand's own commitment in our country.

In addition to the expansion of production lines, Nestlé Purina also acquired a 48-hectare land adjacent to its Silao plant, with plans for future expansions.
