The state accumulated 34 percent of the total national demand, which was 1.6 million square meters. For the first quarter of 2024, the lease of industrial spaces in Monterrey was 549 thousand square meters, followed by Mexico City with 531 thousand and Querétaro with 132 thousand square meters.

The northern region of Mexico stood out the most as it was the epicenter of national leasing activity, concentrating 49 percent of total demand.

Saltillo and Ciudad Juárez also stood out with Monterrey, with 80 thousand and 57 thousand square meters respectively at the end of March 2024.

In terms of construction, the city of Monterrey continues to be the center of industrial growth at the national level with construction beginning on 535 thousand square meters of industrial warehouses, followed by CDMX with 299 thousand and Querétaro with 193 thousand square meters respectively.
