Airbus has found in Mexico a strategic destination for the growth of its industrial operations and commercial activities. The company of French origin generates more than 600 direct jobs and more than 4,000 indirect jobs, produces more than 4,000 aircraft doors and adds more than 400 million dollars in purchases to the supply chain per year.

At the Airbus Helicopters plant in Querétaro, located in the Aerotech Industrial Park, emergency exit doors and bulk cargo doors are produced for the single-aisle commercial aircraft families of the A320 and A321 models, and the A330 models. and A340s, as well as subassemblies for helicopter parts that are then shipped to final assembly lines in Europe.

This manufacturing complex is located on a 44,000 square meter plot of land in the Aerotech Industrial Park, conveniently close to the Querétaro Airport. The production factory measures 12,000 square meters and has an area of more than 5,000 square meters for expansion.

The construction of this plant began in 2012 and it now has the necessary infrastructure for manufacturing, surface treatment and assembly lines.

Additionally, in Mexico City, Airbus has a training center where it offers A320 family operators initial and periodic training for pilots and maintenance personnel, and a customer service center from where Airbus Helicopters supervises sales, customization, support, training, spare parts and maintenance of its fleet of 411 helicopters belonging to 24 countries in the region, of which 35% are based in Mexico.
