
Mercado Libre reported that it will install three new distribution centers in the State of Mexico for which it will allocate around 220 million dollars.
This announcement is part of the investment package that the company will carry out in Mexico for a total of 1.1 billion jobs.
According to Mercado Libre, this investment will generate around four thousand new jobs in the state.
Similarly, the company indicated that through the Edoméx Online Store, structured in collaboration with Mercado Libre, within the strategy, #YoConsumoLocal, it has been possible to support a large number of Micro, Small and Medium-sized companies (MSMEs) , through the stimulus in the sales of Mexican products.
Currently, Mercado Libre has a distribution center of around 100,000 square meters in Tepotzotlán, State of Mexico.
It also has a 30 thousand square meter warehouse in Cuautitlán.
According to the Solili platform, the Tepotzotlán corridor has an inventory of 2,120,127 square meters with a vacancy rate of 7.9 percent, that is, 168,395 square meters.
