Melonn advances with new warehouses in Monterrey and Guadalajara

Melonn, a Colombian startup focused on logistics services for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), announced the opening of two new warehouses in Mexico, located in Guadalajara and Monterrey, as part of its growth and expansion.

With the opening of these warehouses, the company seeks to offer faster shipments in different areas of the country, as well as continue promoting e-commerce SMEs, through technology and logistics solutions.

Another of the company's objectives is to continue its growth and become an employer brand in Mexico. Currently, the Mexico City warehouse already generates more than 450 jobs and the new openings will generate more than 80 jobs.

“We are very happy to announce the opening of two more warehouses in Mexico since, with this, we reinforce our commitment to Mexican SMEs by offering them logistics solutions so that they can continue growing their businesses. The new warehouses will allow us to offer faster shipments and open up the opportunity for entrepreneurs to reach more cities in the country,” said Daniela Uribe, country manager of Melonn México.

Melonn seeks to be the ally of Latin American entrepreneurs through a simple and automated process and connects to its different e-commerce channels, which allows sellers to send their inventory to Melonn warehouses, which are close to their final consumers. .

The company takes care of the set-up and delivery quickly, so that end consumers receive their orders the same day or the next day.

Now with 3 warehouses operating in the country, the Colombian company has growth projections of more than 50% month to month and they expect that by the end of 2022 the new warehouses will have approximately 220 thousand items; while in Mexico City they expect to close the year with 2.4 million items.

The Guadalajara and Monterrey warehouses are expected to process 20,000 orders each, and around 210,000 in Mexico City.
