Martinrea invests 45 million dollars in expanding its plant in Coahuila

Martinrea announced an investment of 45 million dollars for its expansion in Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila, which aims to generate 350 direct jobs and will connect with six other companies of the entity.

Miguel Ángel Riquelme, Governor of the state, together with Alfredo Alonso, Executive Vice President of Fluidos Martinrea, and Sandra Shaddlick, Consul General of Canada, reported the 1,100-square-foot expansion.

Additionally, the company is aiming for another 1,200-square-foot expansion in the near future.

With this expansion, Canada and Coahuila strengthen their trade relationship.

Currently the entity has more than 100 Canadian companies and in the last 4 years almost one billion dollars have been raised from Canada, positioning the country as the third with the highest investment in Coahuila.

The Governor explained that Canada sees a home in Coahuila thanks to the trust, certainty and vision that the state has with the industry. While Alfredo Alonso said that Martinrea continues to invest in Coahuila thanks to the trust they have in the entity.
