Mahle Behr inaugurated its third automotive plant in Saltillo

The Mahle Behr company, together with the governor of Coahuila, Manolo Jiménez, inaugurated its third plant of the German automotive supplier in the town of Ramos Arizpe, which had an investment of 56 million dollars.

The infrastructure will be located in the “Chuy María Coahuila Industrial Park”, generating around 400 jobs and specialized in the manufacturing of parts for electric cars.

Martín Mondragón, director of the new industrial space, pointed out that the complex will produce coolers for electric car batteries, radiators for gasoline cars and air conditioning for both, and by 2026 80% of production will be for electric cars.

Likewise, he highlighted that they estimate the generation of 27 thousand exchangers per week, however, they hope to increase that figure in the following years to supply their various clients.

Given this situation, Al-Sibai, representative of the Board of Directors of the Mahle Behr group, expressed that, due to the workload, a significant increase is expected for the year 2025, by hiring 350 additional employees, thus strengthening its presence in the region and contributing to local economic growth.

Finally, he highlighted the importance of their operations in the country in the production of parts for the type of vehicle in which they specialize.
