Macro hub in Guanajuato inaugurated Deacero

Deacero inaugurated its new macro hub in Villagrán, Guanajuato, which has a distribution capacity of more than 1,500 tons of finished product per day and an installed capacity of more than 12 thousand tons of storage.

The company explained that the facilities of 35 thousand square meters represented an investment of more than 16 million dollars and during its construction 16 companies participated, with 500 direct and indirect jobs.

Thus, the new Macro Hub Bajío will serve more than 730 customers and distributors, transfer wires and steel products to enhance the development of the region and provide service to the central and Pacific zone of Mexico, in addition to reinforcing exports to 11 destinations in the United States and Latin America.

“From the beginning we wanted to invest in the region because it represents a strategic geographic location for the company and because of the ideal proximity to the clients that it needs to serve.

Therefore, we are very excited about the entry into operation of the Macro Hub Bajío, which benefits the community and economic growth in Mexico,” said Raúl Gutiérrez Durán, Director of Logistics and Supply and DeAcero Logistics (3PL).

Construction began in February 2021 with the aim of using new technologies, which will allow rationalization in distribution to reduce the carbon footprint of transportation.
