Customer needs are constantly changing. In e-commerce, among other things, consumers want their deliveries to be made as quickly as possible, even on the same day, which has become a challenge for companies.

Express delivery or same day delivery "is no longer a benefit as such, but is becoming more of an industry standard," Obed Galván, head of Linio Operations told T21.

Given this, the e-commerce company, with an offer of thousands of products in its catalog, both national and international, seeks to provide a value proposition to its customers with deliveries in the shortest possible time. Linio can deliver under this scheme from a USB, to a refrigerator or a washing center, products of any size.

Obed Galván mentioned that they manage to deliver large products thanks to the fact that they have personnel specialized in these products, who are in charge of everything from packaging to accommodation within the units that will take them to their destinations so that they arrive in optimal conditions.

The Linio marketplace is managed under three different supply models: dropshipping, Fulfillment by Linio and cross docking.

In the first, the company's business partners dispatch the products using Linio transport, which corresponds to 80% of the company's operations. The second modality of Fulfillment by Linio implies that the company takes care of everything, from inventory storage in its distribution center, to deliveries in less than 24 hours, regardless of the destination and the size of the product.

Finally, the cross dock, in which Linio is in charge of collecting the orders to take them to their distribution center and from there transport them to their destination. Linio has a distribution center strategically located in Cuautitlán Izcalli, Estado de México, an area that helps reduce times for transfers throughout the country.

Likewise, Obed Galván announced that the company plans to expand to Monterrey, Guadalajara y Ciudad de México, as well as possibly to Veracruz, for next year.
