Leoni Cable expands auto parts operations in Chihuahua

Nearing 23 years of being established in the city of Cuauhtémoc, Chihuahua, the company Leoni Cable maintains leadership in innovation with products, solutions and services for energy and data management in the automotive industry.

For this reason, with all the achievements obtained in recent years, the company decided to expand its operations, with the acquisition of almost three hectares of land for the construction of an industrial warehouse.

With the development of this infrastructure, Leoni Cable established the EMOMEX Project, which is specialized in the production of charging cables and high voltage cables for hybrid and electric cars, which had an investment of 16.8 million dollars.

This new building consists of 7,500 square meters with an expansion of 3,200 square meters, which represented a growth of 42%; and which was developed in collaboration with American Industries.

Leoni Cable's products have various applications in automobiles, computers, household appliances, and even trams, which is why its trade focuses on world-renowned companies such as Daimler, Chrysler, General Motors, Ford, BMW, and Volkswagen.

Likewise, within the direct actions to protect the ecosystem, the company uses clean energy that is produced in the "Los Santos" solar park in Moctezuma Villahumada, which produces 90% of the energy consumption for the plant and will be the first scale useful in photovoltaic energy.
