The Japanese high-tech company, Mitsui High-tec announced a new investment to build a motor core plant in Apaseo el Grande, Guanajuato.

The company announced the capital increase for the new plant on November 22, 2023, completing the plan for the site and allocating an additional 405 million pesos to construction costs (around $23.3 million).

Now, after adjustments to the exchange rate corresponding to the month of November, the total amount of Mitsui High-tec Mexicana's investment will be 525 million pesos (30.2 million dollars at the exchange rate as of the date of this article), he indicated. the company. The area of the land acquired by the company is 67,857 square meters, according to the document, and the surface of the industrial warehouse will be 17,169 m2 for the production of engine cores for electric and hybrid vehicles. Construction is expected to be completed in January 2025 at the Colinas de Apaseo Industrial Park, developed by Lintel in Apaseo el Grande.
