The leading company in the sector of the distribution of steel and metal products, Kloeckner Metals, decided to invest 40 million dollars in Querétaro, motivated by the availability of human talent.

The CEO of the American company, John Ganem, announced the inauguration of the company where they estimate to generate 200 formal jobs for the manufacture of products for the automotive industry, as well as the supply of metals.

For his part, the head of the Secretariat for Sustainable Development, Marco Antonio Del Prete Tercero, said that the US-based company will generate quality jobs through the manufacture of products for the automotive industry, as well as the supply of metals for other key sectors in the state.

He stressed that the United States is Querétaro's main trading partner, and according to the Ministry of Economy, this country invested 290 million dollars in 2022; while this year the arrival of more North American capital was announced.

Kloeckner Querétaro is the company's second plant in Mexico, from where service will also be provided to Ciudad de Mexico, Guanajuato, Aguascalientes, Guadalajara y Puebla.
