The company of Japanese origin, JSP Internacional, will continue betting on Mexican lands, since it plans to invest in a new plant that will be located in the north of the national territory and will expand the current plant in Toluca, said Ramiro Escobedo, commercial director of the company in Mexico.

It should be noted that the JSP Mexico plant, located in Toluca since 1997, produces expanded polypropylene, a material that provides a solution to the automotive sector because it produces air conditioning channels, parts for trunk levellers, child protection seats, side impact protections, etc.

Likewise, the business leader added that the company also produces reusable packaging, a line of work that has presented an important demand in the country because it is used to transport, among other things, auto parts, so the sights of said JSP investment Mexico are aimed at increasing their production.

Ramiro Escobedo, who also serves as president of Manufacturing of the State of Mexico Automotive Cluster (ClautEdoMex), explained that four to five prosperous years are expected for the automotive sector throughout the national territory: “Good investments are coming for Mexico, I think they are coming very good times”.

Escobedo explained that the sector is coming from a globalization to a regionalization where production is sought with local supply chains, this is due, among other things, to the conflict that currently exists between Western countries and China.

To this is added that "the companies that have local suppliers, that is, our raw material comes from the region, are very benefited, because this Free Trade Agreement has a very strong regional content and that helps us," said the spokesman of the ClautEdoMex.
