Javer increases its sales by 1.8% in the first quarter of 2021

The developer Javer released its financial and operating results for the first quarter of 2021 (1Q2021), which highlights an increase of 1.8% in the housing units sold, with 3 thousand 434, compared to the same period 2020.

Likewise, during this period there was an increase of 9.4% in net income, with 1,793.1 million pesos (mp); compared to the 1,638.9 million pesos registered in 1Q2020. This was mainly due to the growth in volume and the improvement in the sales mix in the middle-income and residential segments.

Javer indicated that these segments increased 3.3% and 11.7%, respectively; while the social interest segment decreased 42.5 percent.

Regarding the granting of financing, the Institute of the National Housing Fund for Workers (Infonavit) continued as the main source of credit for Javer clients. However, the financing granted by this institute covered 88.1% of the total units sold in 1Q2021; while in 1Q2020 they comprised 93 percent.
