CEVA Logistics, a French capital company of the CMA CGM group, which provides transportation and supply chain solutions for large and medium-sized national and multinational companies, started operations of its third warehouse in the state of Nuevo León.

The company will be located in Pocket Park Airport, in the municipality of Apodaca where it invested seven million dollars in a warehouse with a surface area of 13,258 square meters of infrastructure and will generate 120 jobs.

The general director in Mexico of CEVA Logistics, Alejandra López Orantes, highlighted nearshoring as a key element in the decision to open a third location in the state.

"It had a strong weight because we are seeing the need in Nuevo León for all the investment there is, we know that we can continue to grow in the state together with the industry that is arriving, so it is definitely key for us," he emphasized.

For his part, José María Garza de Silva, CEO of GP Desarrollos, commented that CEVA's arrival at its Pocket Park Aeropuerto Industrial Park, inaugurated in November 2022, is one of its most important projects.

"As a group, we hope to continue contributing for many more years to the development of the municipality of Apodaca," he added.
