The works of the third phase of the first stage of the Vía Alterna are about to begin, since the bidding has already been awarded; that is to say, there is already talk of an advance of 50% of the first half of this road, however, there are still several phases that are going to be tendered to reach Axis 140.

This was commented by the president of the Mexican Chamber of the Construction Industry (CMIC) in the entity, Juan Manuel Pérez Herrera, who commented that the first phase is almost completed, since it is more than 80% complete, while that, the second phase has just over a month since work began and 'they have progressed at a good pace'.

In the same way, he said that recently the decision of the tender for the third phase was announced, and the works of this would already be starting, for which reason, he considered that the construction of this road has advanced favorably, however, he recalled that It will still take a while longer to be fully completed, since it is a project that is planned for almost two years.

“The Vía Alterna, which is extremely important, is barely in its third phase and there are still other phases to be completed before it can be completed and reach Axis 140. I believe that right now it is about 50% of the first stage, and the resources are being assigned federally in sections”, he added.

Finally, the businessman pointed out that they will hold a meeting with state and federal authorities to find out more details about this work, and thus define exactly the progress that is being made, both in the works and in the next tenders.
