
Pacquetexpress began operations in its distribution center (cedis) in Guadalajara, located in the municipality of Tlajomulco de Zúñiga, which is currently the largest in the country, and is a logistical connection for the regional operation.
In an interview with T21, César Cano, regional manager of real estate projects for Paquetexpress, said that this project is the largest to date for the organization, it is a self-development where the property is owned by the company, for which had the possibility of being carried out to cover all the operating needs.
The Espacioxpress Guadalajara cedis is developed in an area of just over 10 hectares, of which just over 30,000 m2 are built, within a denomination that considers five geometries: warehouse, workshop, offices, self-consumption and maneuvering yards .

“More than 21,000 m2 of operating platform, platforms and cross dock, 4,200 e-commerce referrals and 3,700 offices are considered. More than 30,000 meters are destined for the maneuvering yards, workshops 3,500 meters, in addition to the parking of the collaborators”, described César Cano.
Inaugurated on October 26, the date of the 36th anniversary of Paquetexpress, this cedis is considered a logistics node to connect the western region with the Pacific and Central regions, thus managing to integrate three dispersed centers that they previously had.
This new facility has 124 platforms; Until before its opening, the one in San Martín Obispo, which has just over 70 platforms, was the largest that the organization had. This cedis does not have storage racks, since the origin of the operation is not in the storage of the packages, but in the agile circulation for their delivery.

Regarding the second stage of expansion, the director shared that this is oriented towards a multimodal vocation, as it is close to the Guadalajara airport, and where with this link it will become a logistics option to consolidate as a 3PL logistics operator. , 4PL or 5PL, according to the needs of the market.
Currently, Paquetexpress handles various types of ships A, B and C, where there is a combination of rents and own constructions, "we have about 40% of own constructions, 30% rented and the remaining 30% are under buil schemes. -to-suit, that is, we rent them, but according to our requirements'.
