Construction begins on the new Crisol CEDIS in Querétaro

El Crisol, a Mexican company with 21 years operating in Querétaro, laid the first stone of its new Distribution Center (Cedis) in Pedro Escobedo.

The project has an investment of more than 300 million pesos and will generate 80 direct and 200 indirect jobs in the region.

Rodolfo Camargo, general director of Crisol, highlighted that this project responds to the need to have a larger storage and distribution area, as well as to have greater traceability in each commercial operation as the client demands.

The storage area will be 15 thousand square meters, with a capacity of 10 thousand pallets and a diversity of more than 25 thousand 290 brands, five positions for reception and exit, office areas for 80 employees, laboratories to offer calibration services in mass, volume and temperature.

Cedis is positioned as the largest storage and distribution center for laboratory devices, materials, equipment and biologicals in Latin America.

Crisol is an important part of the industrial and scientific, academic and research development in Mexico, our products and services reach thousands of customers daily to control the products we consume, said the CEO.

Amarildo Bárcenas, president of Pedro Escobedo, who was also at the beginning of the project, commented that the municipality is an ally of businessmen and that it will work to provide certainty in investments and growth for the region and Querétaro.
