Infonavit has granted more than 676 thousand loans for the purchase of new or used housing so far under the current government.

So far this six-year term, Infonavit has placed one million, 51 thousand 769 loans for housing. Of this total, 64% have been financing for the acquisition of new or used housing.

Since January 2019, the Institute has delivered 676 thousand 489 loans for home purchases.

Infonavit explained that so far the current government has granted 325,065 financing for home improvements, while 50,215 for expansion and construction.

The Institute has focused on the lowest earning workers. And it is that 63% of the financing that has been granted has been for right holders who receive less than 12 thousand pesos per month.
