The Institute of the National Housing Fund for Workers (Infonavit) will present the new loan in pesos in May. This scheme will be the renewal of the current traditional credit of the Institute and contemplates, among other things, a reduction in the interest rate.

Infonavit will begin with the delivery of credits for Yucatan police officers; In addition, he pointed out, the Institute will launch the credit for workers in the agro-industrial sector.

Likewise, it will offer financing to agricultural workers in states such as Jalisco and Michoacán. They will also work so that in the autumn they deliver the first loans under the "Infonavit Account plus Bank Credit" scheme.

This product will allow more than 1 million independent workers to buy a house using their savings with the bank of their choice.
