The implementation of the Infonavit reform is progressing. And the fact is that the Board of Directors of the Institute approved the rules for granting credit that will be used to operate the new financial products that the agency will launch and that derive from the changes published in December.

According to Carlos Martínez, general director of Infonavit, with this action the Institute already has the regulations that will guide the granting of credit for the purchase of land.

The manager added that with these new operating rules, the Institute will have to review all the financing options it has. In this framework, he pointed out, the door will be opened for workers who are not actively listed in Infonavit, but who once did, are subject to credit.

According to the real estate analysis platform Solili, in Mexico City the average sale price of residences is located at 7 million 808 thousand 429 pesos, a decrease of 1.7 percent when compared to the 8 million average registered towards December of 2020.
