Capital government announces investments to strengthen Vallejo industrial corridor

The government of Mexico City reported that it will invest around one billion pesos for the Vallejo-i industry and innovation project and in turn, the private initiative, will contribute 2.499 billion pesos for the same purpose to promote sustainable industrial development from this area of Azcapotzalco.

Said program includes actions to repower the industrial sector and improve public infrastructure; as well as to provide accessible housing to the population.

The president explained that it is intended to promote the industrial area through public and private investment; in order to improve urban infrastructure and promote various economic areas that contribute to environmental quality, create jobs and promote the development of the metropolis.

Currently, Vallejo has an inventory of 665 thousand 479 square meters and a vacant space of 79 thousand 380 square meters until March 2021, according to data from Solili.

Similarly, 16,524 square meters are under construction at an average monthly rental price per square meter of $ 6.70.
