Generac Power Systems opens a plant in Hidalgo with an investment of 600 million pesos

Generac Power Systems, manufacturer in the design and manufacture of electrical power generation equipment, held the inauguration of its new manufacturing plant in Villa de Tezontepec, Hidalgo.

The plant, located in the Platah Industrial Park, had an initial investment of 600 million pesos and for the following years, the company expects to invest an additional 150 million for infrastructure and equipment.

These facilities have an area of 35 thousand square meters, in which 260 people work in the manufacture of power generators, supply chain management, industrialization, manufacturing and quality control,

These facilities will support the growth in market demand, as it has the ability to scale manufacturing to meet the demand in the telecommunications and data center segments due to technology changes that are expected to generate a massive increase in data traffic. and number of connected devices.

One of the industrial real estate markets that Solili monitors, Zumpango, in the State of Mexico, and that borders the state of Hidalgo, has shown its importance in attracting new investments.

For example, as of March 2021, this corridor presents an inventory of 112 thousand 644 square meters and there are 17 thousand 548 square meters under construction.
