FYMSA will invest 4 million dollars for expansion in Torreón

FYMSA, the supplier of aluminum processes to the automotive industry, will generate up to 400 new direct jobs for smelting and process technicians in the Comarca Lagunera region.

On August 9, the governor of Coahuila, Miguel Ángel Riquelme announced the expansion of the FYMSA company in the Laguna region, with an investment of 4 million dollars.

FYMSA is a Mexican company dedicated to casting, machining and industrial modeling processes. They also offer shot blasting as well as machining services covering cast iron models, devices, gages and general machining for clients such as Nemak, Metaldyne, Mahle, John Deere and Wohlert.

The expansion reaffirms FYMSA's commitment to expand aluminum component manufacturing capabilities for the domestic market, mainly for companies located in Nuevo León and Guanajuato, as well as the export market to China and the United States.

FYMSA produces around 400 tons per month of aluminum components with 120 employees and with this expansion they intend to reach a capacity of 600 tons in 2022 and 1,000 tons by 2023.

With this increase in capacity, the company seeks to supply the needs of the markets for the manufacture of electric cars and liquid aluminum alloys for structural battery components.
