Foxconn evaluates Mexico to expand its operations

Foxconn, a Taiwanese company dedicated to the manufacture of semiconductors, has its sights set on Mexico to install a new production plant for electric vehicles.

In an interview Manuel Pérez, head of the Office of the President of the Confederation of Industrial Chambers of the United Mexican States (Concamin), announced the news.

Jalisco or Chihuahua, entities in which it already has installed plants, are evaluated to expand its operations.

Mexico - he revealed - is fighting for this investment with the United States, and speculative investment could reach 2 billion dollars.
