Canadian firm BRP builds 2 new plants in Querétaro

BRP, a Canadian manufacturer of motorized sports products, began the construction of its plants for the manufacture of batteries and electric motorcycles in the Querétaro Industrial Park, in the state capital.

The start of these two projects marks the steps that Mexico is taking in electromobility, highlighted the general director of Global Economic Impulse, of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE), Iker Amílcar Jiménez Martínez.

During the start of construction of the new BRP plant, the federal director issued a speech in support of international companies that are interested in arriving in Mexico. With this project, BRP invests 1,400 million pesos and will add 520 new collaborators, informed the Secretary of Sustainable Development (Sedesu) of Querétaro, Marco Antonio Del Prete Tercero.
