Fibra Storage invested 77.9 million pesos in a new property in CDMX

Fibra Storage, a real estate investment trust specialized in the development and leasing of mini warehouses in Mexico, reported that on January 27 it formalized the acquisition of a property in Mexico City with an investment of 77.9 million pesos.

Through a statement published on the Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV), he explained that the property is located in the area limited by Patriotismo, Viaducto Miguel Alemán and Viaducto Río Becerra avenues in the Mexican capital.

"The price of the acquisition of the property was for a total of 77.9 million pesos including closing costs," pointed out the Fibra.

Said investment is added to the recent announcement about the start-up of the operations of a new branch in Mexico City.

Likewise, Fibra Storage is advancing with the completion of three other development projects that it expects to put into operation during the first quarter of 2023.

Additionally, it has seven lots for future development. The Gross Leasable Area of its entire portfolio is 150,341 square meters, with an occupancy of 77.5 percent.

"Even though Fibra Storage's main strategy is to acquire 100% owned assets, the general management is always attentive to interesting opportunities to serve potential customers," the company previously stated.

With this new branch, the firm has a total of 28 mini-warehouses in operation, located mainly in Mexico City.
