Fibra Storage continues with its expansion plan and has reserved 8 lots for future mini warehouse development projects, the Real Estate Investment Trust exposes in its latest financial report.

The report indicates that it currently has 47,223 square meters (m2) under development, which demonstrates compliance with its growth program for its portfolio of mini-warehouses.

By integrating these projects between this year and 2024, Fibra Storage will increase its current Gross Leasable Area (GLA) by 28%, since until March of this year its real estate portfolio consisted of 168,395 m2 of rentable space, distributed in 28 mini warehouses, located mainly in Mexico City.

With these lands and the properties under development, Fibra Storage seeks to satisfy the growing demand for safe and accessible storage spaces for individuals and companies.

Mini Sheds offer a convenient solution for storing personal belongings, business inventories and other goods, giving users the flexibility and peace of mind that they have adequate space for their storage needs.

Fibra Storage has stated that its growth aims to settle in dense cities such as Guadalajara and Monterrey, since its operations are currently mainly focused on the Mexican capital.

These cities are important economic centers and are home to numerous businesses and individuals who require additional and convenient storage spaces.

Projected growth in these new locations will be delivered through two primary approaches: Fibra Storage's in-house development platform and strategic partnerships with local developers. This strategy has already borne fruit with the acquisition of properties under the Guardabox brand in Guadalajara and San Luis Potosí at the end of 2021.
