Fibra Storage allocates titles to buy 5 Guardabox properties

Fibra Storage, a real estate investment trust specialized in operating and developing self-storage mini-warehouses, put into circulation 520,879 real estate trust stock certificates (CBFIs), which were in the trust's treasury, announced in a notice published on the Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV).

The titles were used to pay for the purchase of the five properties operated under the Guardabox brand, acquired in October 2021.

"The CBFIs were used as liquidation of the consideration for the contribution to the trust's assets of the buildings and assets that are part of five properties that operate under the Guardabox brand, located in Guadalajara and San Luis Potosí," Fibra Storage detailed in the notice. to the market.

The properties of the Guardabox portfolio were acquired at a price of 103 million pesos, whose payment was made 70% in cash and 30% in Real Estate Trust Stock Certificates, at a reference value of 19.10 pesos per certificate.

After this operation, the real estate trust specified that it has 223 million 292 thousand 984 real estate trust stock certificates in circulation.

Fibra Storage reports a portfolio with 33 properties, of which 26 are in operation, the remaining seven are land for future development. The Gross Rentable Area is 150 thousand 341 square meters. Occupancy was 77.5% at the end of the third quarter of 2022.
