Fibra Prologis acquires industrial properties in CDMX and Ciudad Juárez for 28 million dollars

FIBRA Prologis, one of the leading real estate investment trusts in investment and management of class A logistics real estate in Mexico, has acquired from its sponsor, Prologis, an industrial building in Ciudad Juárez and a Last Touch® property in Mexico City from a third.

These acquisitions represent a total investment of US$28 million, including closing costs.

“We continue to proactively acquire assets from our sponsor, Prologis, as well as from third parties,” said Luis Gutierrez, General Director of Prologis Mexico.

 “During the first quarter we acquired properties for a total of US$67 million, including closing costs. These acquisitions reinforce FIBRA Prologis' strategy of continuing to generate a greater presence in the best logistics markets, thus satisfying a growing demand for space."

As of December 31, 2021, FIBRA Prologis consisted of 224 logistics and manufacturing properties located in six industrial markets in Mexico, with a total Gross Leasable Area of 42.6 million square feet (4.0 million square meters).
