Fibra Nova closes 36 million dollars in new industrial projects at the end of 1Q 2022

After more than four years of being listed on the Stock Exchange, Fibra Nova has doubled the size of its Gross Leasable Area (GLA), reaching a total of 497 thousand 001 square meters (m2) until the end of the year last.

In August 2017, when it launched its initial public offering, it reported a portfolio with a total leasable area of 217,562 m2 (distributed in 81 properties) and up to its last financial information, it consolidated 497,001 m2 of leasable space (with 107 properties). ) and 1,653 hectares of the agroindustrial portfolio.

"We hope that 2022 will be an excellent year, in the first quarter we closed 36 million dollars in new industrial projects, so we started the year very well," said the manager.

The company even continues to add new properties to its portfolio, Guillermo Medrano, general director of the investment trust in industrial, commercial and educational real estate, assured that they have been active in this 2022, in terms of new projects.

He added that industrial real estate presents a favorable demand, mainly in the northern region of the country. It even currently has some projects underway to meet the needs of the market.

In this sense, he recalled that last year they bought a 32-hectare plot of land in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, where they will develop an industrial park. Additionally, they signed a binding agreement to acquire seven hectares with the aim of expanding the Bafar Technological Park, in Chihuahua, adding a total of 21 available hectares.

As of December 31, 2021, Fibra Nova owned a portfolio made up of 107 properties and a total of 497,001 m2 of GLA and 1,653 hectares of the agro-industrial portfolio.
