Fibra Monterrey announces acquisition of industrial portfolio in Nuevo León

With an acquisition of 206.6 million dollars, Fibra Monterrey is at the forefront of the most important real estate fibers in the country. The transaction includes eight industrial warehouses belonging to class A, with a gross profitable area of more than 186 thousand square meters and a surface total of 347,714 m2.

The real estate investment trust stressed that six warehouses can be liquidated in May with a total amount of 133.2 million dollars, so that the remaining two that are still under construction, the objective is to be paid as soon as they are delivered and begin to receive rents.

The warehouses that were acquired are two years old and are located in the main industrial submarkets of Monterrey. The real estate portfolio has 100% occupancy with a remaining term of 8.2 years from the estimated purchase date.

With this operation, Fibra MTY reaffirms its commitment to continue the growth of the investment property portfolio, prioritizing the increase in cash flow through CBFI and the consolidation of the quality of assets, tenants and leases in the main markets of the country.
