Fibra Inn opens the JW Marriott Monterrey Valle hotel

Despite the health crisis and the effects it has caused in the hotel business, Fibra Inn opened the JW Marriott Monterrey Valle hotel, a flagship brand of the Marriott International chain, and it becomes the fifth property of this brand in Mexico.

The hotel involved an investment of 1,374 million pesos that were contributed by Fibra Inn in a strategic joint venture with an institutional investor, through its Hotel Factory model.

Through this investment, more than 200 direct jobs will be generated once it reaches stable occupancy levels, the hotel real estate trust in Mexico, specialized in the business traveler segment, detailed in a statement.

Fibra Inn owns 38 hotels with 6,391 rooms. In addition, it participates in an investment in three developments of the Hotel Factory, which will add 676 rooms. During the quarter of this year, it maintained 33 units in operation and five closed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
