Fideicomiso Hipotecario (FHipo), an investment trust specialized in originating and managing mortgage portfolios, will move to the Institutional Stock Exchange (BIVA) on May 18, after almost seven years of keeping its shares listed, as well as its debt securities on the Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV).

The issuer reported in a statement that "it obtained a favorable opinion from BIVA to carry out the change in the listing of the securities with the ticker symbol FHIPO14".

It was in November 2014 when the company, led by Daniel Braatz Zamudio, held its initial public offering (IPO) on the BMV, placing each share at a price of 25 pesos and raising capital for 8.625 million pesos.

At the close of this Tuesday, May 11, its papers were sold at 19.98 pesos, which means that the shareholders who bought the share in the IPO if they kept their initial investment would have a 20 percent loss.

FHipo also issued debt on the BMV in 2016 and 2017 and decided to change its registration to BIVA.

With this decision, the company in the mortgage sector becomes the first company in the stock market to change its price to the new stock market.

“We made the decision to change the listing of our FHIPO14 securities to BIVA, due to the great competitive offer in terms of price, volume and market conditions that they have offered us. We hope to see positive results in our certificates in the medium term ”, stated the firm through a statement.

But in addition, the Mortgage Trust was already an issuer in Biva because in December of last year it made an issuance of stock certificates or debt in said market, receiving financing for 2,500 million pesos, which it will pay over a period of 30 years. It has also entered into other short-term issues. Between last January and March it raised 188.3 million pesos in this market with two issues.
