Panduit expands its manufacturing plant in Nuevo León

The technology company Panduit inaugurated the expansion of its manufacturing plant in Apodaca, Nuevo León; where it will be generating 280 jobs.

The new factory consists of 7,803 square meters, which, together with its plant inaugurated in 2007 in the same entity, is the second largest complex of the American firm in Latin America and the most important for the production of copper wiring and fiber.

The company specializes in providing advanced physical, electrical and network infrastructure solutions in more than 112 countries. From its plants in Mexico, Panduit exports network and electrical infrastructure solutions for industrial, enterprise, and data center environments to North America, Latin America, Asia, and Europe.

Carlos Arochi, director of Panduit Latam, said that the strategic decision to develop a new plant in Apodaca, Nuevo León, not only means speeding up the company's response times and offering a better service, but also the generation of new jobs in the country.

The production of manufacturing-to-order solutions at the Monterrey plant is motivated by the company's interest in meeting the real needs of the market.

"With this decision, channel distributors and integrators will be able to better manage technological solutions, in addition to having a faster and more efficient response to the current demand of Latin American companies," he said.
