EXA Industrial expands in Coahuila and invests 56 million dollars

Recently, the EXA Industrial company, dedicated to the auto parts manufacturing and semi-trailer manufacturing industry, will invest 56 million dollars in its expansion project in the region known as La Laguna, in Coahuila.

Currently the company's industrial estate, located between the municipalities of Matamoros and Torreón, provides employment for 430 workers in various areas of auto parts manufacturing; however, with this plan this figure will reach 700 positions.

In this regard, Miguel Ángel Riquelme, governor of the state, shared the news through social networks, writing “A Mexican company joins the investment spillover of 2023 in La Laguna! Together with executives from EXA Industrial, we announced the expansion of its operations at its plant in Matamoros, which, through an investment of 56 million dollars, will generate 270 jobs."

The company currently has the capacity to export to other countries such as the United States, Canada, Alaska, Africa and Central America, in addition to a greater national presence, as indicated by Enrique Martínez, the firm's general director.

For his part, Claudio Bres Garza, State Secretary of Economy, stressed that this is the 41st investment announced so far in 2023, and a couple more are expected to be announced at the end of the first semester.
