Ergomotion opens first 250 thousand square foot plant in Ciudad Juárez

With an investment of 30 million dollars, the Ergomotion company –incorporated with the Chinese company Keeson– and under the shelter of Tecma Group, inaugurated its first plant in Mexico.

The company is dedicated to the manufacture of bed bases and its 250 thousand square foot plant is located in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua.

The company currently has two production lines, with which it is expected that after one year 500,000 bed bases will be produced annually.

The plant will include manual and semi-automatic operations that will support continuous improvement of customer service within the United States, ensuring a high-quality and reliable supply chain for Ergomotion products.

According to Solili, Ciudad Juárez became, during the first quarter of 2021, the industrial market that reported the highest demand in the northwestern part of the country, surpassing Tijuana, a market that traditionally reports higher demand volumes.

Between the period January-March 2021, the industrial market of Ciudad Juárez reported a figure of 234 thousand square meters, being the second market, only behind Mexico City, with the highest demand nationwide.
